Introduction

By accessing and using our website and services ("Hack2hire"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). These Terms, which also incorporate our Privacy Policy, apply to all users. If you are using Hack2hire on behalf of a university or another legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use Hack2hire.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Hack2hire signifies your acceptance of these Terms and any revisions.

Use of Services

To use Hack2hire’s services, you may need to register for an account. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and current, and you must be at least 18 years old (or legally emancipated) in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.

You may create an account via third-party services (e.g., Google or Facebook). By doing so, you agree to comply with those third-party terms as well as Hack2hire’s Privacy Policy.

User Content

Hack2hire may display content provided by users or third parties ("Content"), including reviews, comments, photos, logos, employer profiles, and other materials. While we strive for quality, we do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of any Content and are not responsible for any harm resulting from it.

You are solely responsible for any content ("User Content") you submit or authorize for use on Hack2hire. You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it, you grant Hack2hire a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, fully-paid license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and create derivative works of your content in any media now known or later developed.

Additionally, Hack2hire may share your User Content with trusted third parties for feedback or service delivery, consistent with our privacy policies. No compensation is provided for content you submit.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
  • Create accounts under false pretenses or for anyone other than yourself.
  • Post content you do not own or have permission to share.
  • Publish defamatory, misleading, or fraudulent content.
  • Engage in harassment, abuse, or objectionable behavior.
  • Promote or support illegal activities.
  • Disclose confidential or proprietary information unlawfully.
  • Violate intellectual property or proprietary rights of others.
  • Post pornographic or sexually explicit content, or exploit others.
  • Imply a partnership or endorsement by Hack2hire without permission.
  • Send spam or violate anti-spam laws.
  • Use automated agents to create accounts, send messages, or scrape data.
  • Frame, mirror, or deep-link Hack2hire without our express consent.
  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of Hack2hire content without permission.
  • Use Hack2hire’s information for competitive purposes.
  • Sell, rent, or monetize access to Hack2hire without our written consent.
  • Disrupt or interfere with Hack2hire’s functionality or security.
  • Introduce malware or attempt to bypass security measures.

Third-Party Links and Services

Hack2hire may include links to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not control these sites and our terms do not apply to them. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement, and you access them at your own risk.

Enforcement by Hack2hire

Hack2hire reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms or our policies. We may suspend or terminate your account or take other appropriate actions, including notifying law enforcement, if necessary.

Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising from or related to these Terms or Hack2hire shall be resolved through binding arbitration. You agree to waive your right to participate in class actions or jury trials.
