Amazon SDE2 loop, bar raiser got me
Just got the rejection from Amazon after 4 rounds, SDE2 loop. Phone screen was two pointer stuff plus the usual LP drilling, felt fine there. Onsite had a coding round with next greater element, an OOD round on a rate limiter, and then the bar raiser at the end. That last one wrecked me honestly, kept asking for more specifics on trade offs and I didn't have great data points ready. Recruiter said technical was solid but bar raiser wasn't convinced. Whole process took almost 3 months start to finish. Kind of bummed but not shocked given how deep they go on LPs.

how long was the gap between onsite and bar raiser for you? mine's been silent for weeks
about 3 weeks after the rest of the loop, felt like forever waiting on that one
rate limiter OOD round seemed fair honestly, at least that part went ok for you
had something similar happen to me, technical was fine but bar raiser flagged culture fit. rough process
damn bar raiser rounds are brutal, they really drill on the specifics huh
yeah felt like every answer needed backup data, wish I'd prepped more concrete numbers going in
