Point72 SDE loop, waiting after two tech screens
Sharing my Point72 process so far since most of what's out there is scattered across tracks.
OA was on the C++ side, standard algo problems plus a chunk of MCQs on defensive testing and pair programming practices. One of the coding problems was a variant of maximizing count of fixed points in an array after deletions, spent a while suspecting there was a DP approach I wasn't finding and eventually just went with a slower solution that passed most cases.
After that, two rounds about a week apart. First one was with a US based manager, one algo problem plus a round of C++ fundamentals questions. Second was with a remote contractor, another algo problem and more C++ trivia, honestly felt like the same interview again.
They asked upfront if I was fine interviewing in C# too, which caught me off guard since I'd prepped mostly in C++.
Still waiting to hear back, it's been a little over a week since the second screen. No idea what the onsite looks like for this track since I haven't found much documentation on it.

how much overlap was there really between the two screens? sounds rough if they're asking almost the same stuff twice

yeah felt like at least half the second one was a repeat, kind of threw me off

the c# question upfront is new to me, thought this track was c++ only

no feedback after screens is pretty normal for them from what I've read, don't read into the silence too much

good luck, hope you hear back soon
