Lyft's onsite is more busywork than algorithm

Just got rejected from Lyft after 3 rounds, and honestly it wasn't worth the time.

Coding round was the Job Scheduler problem, heap based greedy, not hard at all. But they don't give you any test cases. You're expected to write your own from scratch under time pressure, so I spent half the round building a harness instead of actually solving anything new.

System design was the donation platform thing, failure handling for lost or duplicate payments. Doable, but the interviewer just sat there poker faced the whole time, zero feedback, zero energy.

Behavioral was fine, usual conflict and failure questions plus a random DEI question that came out of nowhere.

Rejected a week later, no explanation given, obviously. Bar is medium at best.

Anyway, their loss. Moving on.
