Phone screen was the AI coding format they push before you even get in the room. Used Cursor with Claude like the recruiter suggested. Problem was the delivery cost system, add drivers, log deliveries, get total cost owed, pretty standard for parts one and two.
Part three wanted batch settlement plus handling overlapping delivery windows and that is where I lost time overexplaining instead of just finishing the code. Got the rejection the next morning, seems like their bar assumes you clear all three parts if you are using AI. Not sure I would opt out next time either.

did you use ai or opt out? curious if opting out changes the bar for part 3
used ai the whole way, recruiter basically expects it now
rippling's bar is so unclear tbh, i finished all 3 parts and still got rejected a week later
same, mine also came back negative after finishing early, no explanation given either
overlapping delivery windows tripped me up too, felt like an edge case they didn't clarify well
the delivery cost problem seems to be their go to, got the exact same thing on my screen
