Just had my Ramp phone screen, didn't move forward.
Got the URL traversal problem people mention here a lot, given a seed URL and you call it, the response has either more URLs to follow or the final "congrats" value. No schema explained upfront, you're expected to print and inspect the response before assuming its shape.
Got the happy path working fine but hit a 401 on one branch, burned too much time chasing the auth header instead of just moving past it, ngl. Interviewer stayed pretty neutral the whole call so hard to read how it went.
Rejected same day, felt like their usual fast turnaround.

sorry that happened, their onsite apparently adds a surprise system design too even when recruiter says it won't
ramp interviews are so vague on purpose it seems, i never know what signal they're even looking for
fr, i asked for hints and interviewer just said keep exploring lol
damn the URL traversal one got me too, did you at least get past the first few nodes?
yeah got through like 3 hops before the 401 hit, felt like i was so close
same day rejection for phone screen checks out, they moved fast when i went through this too
URL traversal is a tough question if you don't know it before
Seems Ramp likes interview this question a lot.
