eBay phone screen, can't tell how it went Just wrapped my eBay phone screen. Only one round so far, coding was Find Pattern Matching Words, matching words against a pattern with wildcards. Took me a minute to get the multi character wildcard case right but got a working solution before time ran out. Interviewer was pretty quiet through most of it, didn't get much of a read on how it landed. Anyone else feel like eBay screens are impossible to read afterwards?

did you get the multi wildcard case right away or take a couple tries? that part always trips people up
