Just did my Confluent phone screen, not sure what to make of it

Been out of the interview grind for over a year so I was pretty nervous going into my Confluent phone screen this week. Got the tail -n problem, basically reimplement how a file gets read backwards without loading everything into memory. Talked through buffer sizes vs seeking from the end with the file pointer, wrote out pseudocode, and honestly felt like I was actually thinking clearly for once. Interviewer seemed engaged the whole time which helped a lot. Now I'm just waiting to hear if I move...
