OpenAI phone screen Rejected, still processing

Got a phone screen with OpenAI last week. SD + coding format. System design was Sora video scheduling, which I had prepped for. But then the coding problem had this problem description that honestly felt like reading a novel. I got the core idea right but ran out of time on the follow-ups. Recruiter reached out the next day saying they'd move forward with other candidates. 5 YOE and this one stung a little ngl. Back to grinding I guess.

Which coding problem was it though? GPU credits or something different?

Different one, not GPU credits. Something simulation-based, kinda like an epidemic model variation.

Sora SD is basically expected now. Did they ask about checkpointing or just high level scheduling?

Yeah they went deep on worker failure handling. I had a decent answer but probably not deep enough.
