should I even bother targeting HRT next cycle heard from someone at my school that HRT basically wrapped their whole summer intern pipeline already, and they're not doing another push til fall. kinda rough timing if you're counting on that path. anyone know if they're still doing new grad direct hires or is that also frozen for now?

their LinkedIn headcount has been flat for like 6 months. not sure if that's a freeze or just selective. hard to tell from the outside.

summer apps closed like a month ago for most quant shops. HRT, Jane St, same story. you're basically waiting for fall recruiting to open.

new grad direct hire is separate from intern pipeline. don't conflate the two. check their careers page, they usually post FTE roles independently.

happens every year. quant recruiting cycles are annoying, just set a reminder and come back in fall.
