was literally about to apply lol. guess I'm waiting til september.
summer apps closed like a month ago for most quant shops. HRT, Jane St, same story. you're basically waiting for fall recruiting to open.
yeah same thing happened to me last year. missed the summer window, ended up doing fall and it was totally fine tbh.
their LinkedIn headcount has been flat for like 6 months. not sure if that's a freeze or just selective. hard to tell from the outside.
new grad direct hire is separate from intern pipeline. don't conflate the two. check their careers page, they usually post FTE roles independently.
which school? curious if they're still targeting same campuses or pulling back on that too.
happens every year. quant recruiting cycles are annoying, just set a reminder and come back in fall.
