Just wrapped up my Affirm VO last week, still waiting to hear back. Phone screen was a single coding problem, fintech-flavored stuff. They gave me codepad with 80-100 lines of starter code already written. The problem was about processing loan records and finding parent company hierarchies. The codepad with 100 lines of starter code is so real. I spent like 15 minutes just reading before writing a single line. Felt like a reading test more than coding.

Had a similar experience with the HM round. The "how do you approach" questions threw me too, felt less structured than I expected. Hope you get good news.

Same here. I prepped all STAR and then they just asked open-ended how questions the whole time. Ended up rambling a bit.
