Waymo onsite recap, waiting to hear back

Result: Pending Number of Rounds: 5

Had my Waymo VO last week. Still pending but wanted to share the breakdown.

Phone screen was a graph traversal problem on a grid. Went okay, nothing too crazy.

Onsite was 4 rounds. Coding was a custom problem, BFS on some kind of simulation scenario. System design was open-ended, evaluate an AV model with different edge cases. Data fluency asked about statistical experiment design and latency analysis between two groups. That one caught me off guard honestly, not much prep material online for it. BQ was standard HM stuff.

Fingers crossed. Data fluency felt like a coin flip.
