Infra background at a consumer product company is a tough sell for senior roles. Different eval criteria than infra-first shops.

The 'senior bar' message is so vague. Did HR give any specifics beyond that?

Just that specific rounds didn't meet the standard. No details beyond that. Pretty much useless feedback.

What level were you targeting? Senior SWE?

Yeah senior SWE. And for chat I sketched group chat tables but didn't go deep on the TopN piece. Might have hurt me there.
