this company is a coin flip at the final decision stage. fully qualified people get rejected because someone else was slightly better that cycle
how was the story system design round? did they dig into the storage layer?
yeah they went pretty deep on how you'd handle expiration and fanout. the interviewer was using different names for components than i was which made it confusing for a bit
the AI coding round with Opus is real. if you know how to prompt it clearly it saves a lot of implementation time. the mistake is trying to let it figure out the problem itself
got the same template rejection with no feedback after my onsite. felt like i did well but stack ranking doesn't care
i passed mine last quarter. coding and AI round went well, i think that's what got me through. SD was fine but not stellar
