intuit just cut 3k and it's all "AI refocus" Saw the Intuit news. 17% of their workforce, CEO memo about simplifying structure and doubling down on AI. ~3,000 people. It keeps being the same story. Big company, big headcount cut, AI gets the credit. GM did the same thing last week. At some point you have to wonder if these places are just using AI as clean PR for cuts they were going to make anyway. Anyone else factoring this into where they're applying, or am I reading too much into it?
