Did the Capital One CodeSignal OA last week. 70 minutes, 4 problems, full proctoring setup (camera, mic, screen share, ID verification). Spent 5 minutes on the ID photo thing before the timer even started.

Q1: Symmetric triplet count. Given a string, count triplets where first and last characters match (case-insensitive). Easy, got it quickly.

Q2: String manipulation variant. LC Easy-Medium level, straightforward.

Q3: Matrix commands. Given a matrix and sequence of operations (reverseRow, swap, rotate 90°). Simulation, not hard conceptually but the rotate indexing needs care.

Q4: String/integer pair concatenation. Given a list of integers and a target, count ordered pairs where concatenation equals the target. Hash map approach worked.

Finished with about 8 minutes left. One thing worth noting: the problems explicitly say "optimal not required" so don't overthink the complexity. Got confirmation it passed, waiting on next steps.
