what format did you use for the PPT? just google slides?
yeah google slides. key is having real technical depth ready for every slide, they drill into everything
CoderPad hidden tests trip people up. did you run test cases manually before submitting?
yeah that's basically required. saw people mention losing points because code didn't actually run
deep dive at Robinhood is no joke from what I've heard. congrats on getting through it
how long from phone screen to onsite?
Mine took a day. onsite is a week away.
Hi, Does a deep dive from a project 3-4 years ago ruin your chances ? Also, the product I basically built was a UI/backend services SaaS with lots of background worker jobs and at that time, messaging layer was not needed. Although the whole application was designed to be self healing. Is that considered not great due to missing messaging layer ? I ask this as most application now uses messaging as an asynchronous layer although it does increase complexity. Thanks
