Instacart Karat round is genuinely miserable Got through the first two coding rounds fine, decode password and the pivot table thing, both pretty standard leetcode stuff. Then the Karat round happened and it was a mess. Third-party platform, some 10k line bus simulation codebase, and an AI chat agent bolted on that spits out walls of text faster than you can read it. Interviewer barely waits for you to finish before moving to the next ask. Got rejected after, no real feedback, just the auto-gene...
