Anthropic phone screen, rejected Anthropic phone screen. CodeSignal but it opens as a Jupyter notebook, no autocomplete, that threw me off a bit tbh. Got File Dedupe, dedupe by size plus content hash. No helper code this time, had to write the file system methods myself. Google allowed but it ate up time I didn't have. Follow ups were IO vs CPU bound and how you'd do this at scale across many files. Didn't get to either before time ran out. 5 YOE. Rejected 2 days later.

Did they give you any reason for the 2 day turnaround or just the standard rejection email?

Same, got Web Crawler instead and also ran out of time on the concurrency follow up. Feels like they always leave one part unfinished by design.
