Oracle OCI rejection, wasn't expecting it Just got rejected from Oracle OCI after 5 rounds, kind of wanted to vent. Phone screen was BQ heavy plus a coding round, felt fine going in. Onsite had two coding rounds (LC easy to medium range), a system design round on VM health monitoring for a huge fleet, and a behavioral round that was like 8 questions back to back, way more BQ than I expected in one sitting. Coding felt smoother than I expected honestly, but I guess the strict test cases got me so...

the VM health monitoring SD question seems to come up a lot for OCI, had something similar in my loop too

damn 8 BQ questions in one round is rough. did they feel repetitive or actually different angles each time?

mix of both honestly, some felt like variations of the same story but a couple were pretty different, scope change vs failure handling type stuff

yeah I feel like people underestimate OCI difficulty because the topics sound basic
