Microsoft MAI rejection MAI, 4 rounds, rejected. Phone screen: BQ heavy then Top K coding, stores by score and distance. Went fine. VO: HM round was just project deep dive, no coding. Second round was another Top K variant with follow ups, felt rushed. SD was the chatbot memory system, discussion felt shallow honestly. Feedback was strong technical, weak on scope BQ. Whatever, moving on.

same boat, got dinged on scope BQ too. feels like they weigh that heavier than the coding tbh

yup heard that a lot with MAI, coding bar is normal but BQ is where people seem to get cut

how deep did they go on the chatbot memory SD? curious if they wanted actual RAG details or just high level
