same thing happened to me at amazon honestly, feels less like a company culture thing and more like a manager lottery everywhere

fair point but google reorgs seem to hit harder just because teams are so siloed to begin with

yep this tracks, team lottery is so real at google. I got lucky both times but I've seen friends get wrecked by a reorg
