Squarepoint round 1 rejection, decorators got me

Damn, did they say anything about which part of the decorators question tripped you up? Trying to gauge how deep they go on that round.
From what I've heard it's usually the closure scoping part that trips people up, not the basic wrap and preserve args syntax.
The OA second question wrecked me too, spent way too long trying to brute force before switching to binary search. Felt like a trap if you don't spot the monotonic property early.
Same, I got both right but it ate almost 40 of my 75 minutes. Barely had time left for the stats section.
Sucks about the outcome but at least you cleared the OA fully, that bar alone weeds out a lot of people.
How much time did they give you for the KV store part, live coding always stresses me out more than take homes.
In my round it was about 25 minutes for a basic version then follow ups on TTL expiry if you finished early.
