which org? infra, ads, and search have very different cultures from what i've heard
"rolling the dice" is the most honest description of the team match lottery i've seen
the L5 to L6 wall is one of the most documented things in big tech and yet people still don't understand it until they're in it. narrative is exactly the right word
the reorg thing hit different when my whole project got folded into another org and suddenly nobody knew what my promo packet was supposed to show
still worth it for the TC imo. just go in knowing the culture pitch is not a guarantee
my team has been pretty stable and i've had decent WLB. not saying your experience is wrong but this isn't universal
that's kind of the point. you can't know which experience you're getting until you're already there
