Uber offer Result: Offer Number of Rounds: 5 Phone screen was the hit counter problem. Spent the last 10 minutes walking through tradeoffs: queue clearing strategy, background threading, stale data handling. Interviewer was engaged the whole time. VO was 5 rounds. queue clearing frequency, background threads for aggregation, what happens when you have stale buckets. pretty standard but they want you to drive it not just answer

yes, took a weekend. pick a project you can defend technically and concisely. don't repurpose something half-baked.
