leetcode.com Algorithm round was a graph problem.
HC rejected me at DBX too even though my recruiter said all rounds came back strong hire. Genuinely a black box.
This is stressing me out, I'm at VO stage right now and thought my rounds went ok. HC is such a gamble.

File system concurrent access is always the trap. They want you to proactively bring up locking vs optimistic concurrency without being asked. Interviewers love seeing that.
Yeah in hindsight I should have raised it proactively instead of waiting for them to push. Lesson learned I guess.
How open-ended was the job scheduler design? Did they give you a specific scale target or leave it up to you?

Was the CIDR phone screen the one with multiple ordered rules to match against? Like you get a list of CIDR rules and an IP and find the first match?
Yeah exactly. Ordered rules, binary prefix matching. Convert the IP and check each CIDR range in sequence.
